atriox vs red team

Atriox is the primary antagonist of Halo Wars 2, and the leader of The Banished. You are indeed where you belong. Tier: At least 8-C physically, Higher with Chainbreaker Name: Atriox Origin: Halo. Do you think those three Spartans could take down chief? I am not saying any more. Red Team is a name given to a number of mission-specific formations of Spartan-II supersoldiers subordinate to the UNSC Naval Special Warfare Command. It does seem a little unreasonable that he can take a knife to the gut and continue to fight like nothing happened though. Atriox had upper hand in the situation. I think Halo needs that kind of bad guy character. Atriox had a surprise attack, bloodlust and a hell load of backup in case anything went wrong.
Press question mark to learn the rest of the keyboard shortcuts. They were caught off guard, had decades old equipment, and all have less total/modern experience. They really do a lot to convey the setting and where everything stands in relation to eachother. Take your favorite fandoms with you and never miss a beat. Ripa was an elite that acted very "brute-like", as in how he carried himself as well as his actions. And...poor douglas :( his shoulder. I do like how Atriox is a sorta contrast to Ripa. I can't see ultimate Cap beating 3 Spartan II's let alone from Red team. Red Team has been in Cyro Sleep for 28 years, so they're still getting used active comabat again and also keep in mind that all three spartans are still wearing Mark-IV which in this time is very old. Regarded as a skilled strategist and combatant. And...poor douglas :( his shoulder. Atriox can crush a Spartan II helmet with his bare hands. Never gonna happen because Humans but still. I did find it interesting how Forge easily stabbed the Arbiter to bring him down,as I personally thought his energy shield might have prevented that, but it is nice to see them flip the script this time with a genuinely tough Brute who reacts as though he's seen more combat than many have had hot meals. That dude took on three spartan IIs single-handedly and won. This was definitely a big criticism I had of the Monsters cutscene. Chief has more modern equipment, has more combat experience (most likely), and he took down four ODSTs solo in 15 seconds flat, completely unarmed and unarmored. Personally I find the way, how 343 is acting with the Spartan-II so stupid in so many ways. The guy had to kill a Forerunner solo. Standard Equipment: His gravity mace, Chainbreaker. Halo Wars 2 is almost here I looked at a scene on Youtube were Atriox just dominating Red Team(SP2s).Also keep in mind it was a 3v1. Spartans are jedis of halo universe and need sith lords of their own to make it more interesting. We don't know he isn't shielded, to be honest. I don't know why they didn't aim for the head lol. Of course it is for plot and most events in the stories are. Powers and Stats. It was a close quarter combat. and the editing part was what made it a bit confusing for i did read the edited message but yeah, i hope they will ad the comment removing at some point. Intelligent and strong brute with powerful armor and weapon is more than fitting to that role. Not only do red team get overpowered by one Brute (I don't think Atriox is wearing power armor although he might be given what we see Decimus in later on), but I love the bit when Douglas stabs Atriox in the chest and he barely even notices it. Atriox is the primary antagonist of Halo Wars 2, and the leader of The Banished. So this cutscene with Atriox is clever because its quite consciously subverting that cutscene. She doesnt die, a later mission has you rescuing her and some others from a banished prison. I get it, he's supposed to be this huge scary antagonist, but come on a knife to the stomach should be enough to cause a reaction. Both with the elites getting owned (Blur do not like elites. Atriox had an energy mace of death, Red Team had outdated rifles and armor. Both equipped with standard load outs, fight to the death, who wins?

I want to see Atriox outplay SoF and severely hurt them, even going as far as to destroy SoF and most if not all of the crew. Just ignore this Mika, wasn't meant for you. Not only do red team get overpowered by one Brute (I don't think Atriox is wearing power armor although he might be given what we see Decimus in later on), but I love the bit when Douglas stabs Atriox in the chest and he barely even notices it.

I think red team was faster and succeeded to get s couple of combat knife strikes through but they were suprised how ineffective that was. Some also believe that being just woken from a long cryo sleep spartans were a bit rusty.

However,in Halo:Escalation (The Next 72 Hours) The Didact's physical prowess is addressed in a surprising way when blue team engage him on installation 03 after luring him from the composer's forge. Red team had battle rifles and Atriox had cheaty hammer and also superbly powerful power armor fists. The Master Chief takes this 10/10. Atriox would be no walk in the park, but my money’s on Chief. Not after that fight that showed the red team Atriox's fighting style and strategy. I really liked this cutscene because I always felt like the books and cutscenes had a habit of downplaying the physical disparity between a Spartan and a brute or elite. Chief would take this. I would be glad to see some real despair happening to the Humans again. Atriox casually curb stomped the entire team and Spartans in more advantage MJOLNIR armor (that boost their physically abilities even further than Red Team's MJOLNIR) have had trouble with naked Brutes in close quarters with their bare fists. ~ Atriox to the fleeing Red Team: Summary . It doesn't mean there aren't in-universe reasons. I'm so interested to see how this will play out for the long term and if the Banished will make it all the way to Halo 6 or at least the Spirit of Fire. He just grabs the Spartan with his bear hand … In Halo Reach, 5 and 3 the shield flashes are much more subtle and quick than we see in actual gameplay.

Both with the elites getting owned (Blur do not like elites. I'm so interested to see how this will play out for the long term and if the Banished will make it all the way to Halo 6 or at least the Spirit of Fire.

... At least Building level physically, Building level+ with Shields (Completely unfazed by hits from Spartan Red Team, tougher than most Brutes, and Spartans who can survive a shot from the Fuel Rod Cannon. He could probably defeat all of Red Team in an arm wrestle all at once. You can actually read the Master Chief commenting that he believed that was going to be the day things went too far and he was going to likely die. Considered the first to defy the Covenant in all of its history, and survive. However,in Halo:Escalation (The Next 72 Hours) The Didact's physical prowess is addressed in a surprising way when blue team engage him on installation 03 after luring him from the composer's forge. Red Team was also wearing vastly inferior Mark VI and have a miniscule amount of combat experience compared to Master Chief. Intelligence: Likely high. Tier: At least 8-C physically, Higher with Chainbreaker, Powers and Abilities: Superhuman Physical Characteristics, Limited Gravity Manipulation with Chainbreaker (Can attract targets towards his hammer), Martial Arts, Attack Potency: At least Building level physically (Casually curbstomped three Spartans, stronger than the average Brute, who are stronger than Spartans, though it should be noted that said Spartans were wearing armor that was 3 generations out of date, but he should still be in the same league as Master Chief in his Mk7 MJOLNIR), should be at least comparable, if not superior to Fal Chavamee, likely Higher with Chainbreaker (Vastly superior to ordinary gravity hammers that easily flatten Spartans), Speed: Superhuman movement speed with Supersonic combat speed Reactions (Surprised Spartan Red Team), Lifting Strength: At least Class 10 (Much stronger than Spartans), Striking Strength: At least Building Class (Curbstomped Spartan Red Team with ease), Durability: At least Building level physically,  Building level+ with Shields (Completely unfazed by hits from Spartan Red Team, tougher than most Brutes, and Spartans who can survive a shot from the Fuel Rod Cannon. Sky Shark (Steam Powered Giraffe) Sky Shark’s Profile (One Sky Shark was used in the fight and speed was equalized). I really liked this cutscene because I always felt like the books and cutscenes had a habit of downplaying the physical disparity between a Spartan and a brute or elite. I like the way Blur addressed the Elites in the first Halo Wars for a simple reason: they capitalized on the fact that some of the Elites were better equipped than others, namely the lower ranking blue Elites that red team engaged at the apex site. I did find it interesting how Forge easily stabbed the Arbiter to bring him down,as I personally thought his energy shield might have prevented that, but it is nice to see them flip the script this time with a genuinely tough Brute who reacts as though he's seen more combat than many have had hot meals. He’s the one and only Spartan that could change the tide of the human covenant war for a reason. Press J to jump to the feed. ~ Atriox to the fleeing Red Team: Summary . Yeah, there’s a good point about Red Team, but their equipment was 30 years out of date and they were caught by surprise. Think about it, why would the writers have Red Team take down Atriox, the MAIN protagonist, as soon as you/they meet him? Off topic I know, but I'd really like to see more of these face offs by Blur. I'd like to start off by explaining how Atriox's victory over Red Team is not an accurate comparison to how a battle with Chief would go.
It is very likely this power gauntlet that Atriox has is to thank for a lump sum of his power, though I'm still pretty convinced that he's simply a powerhouse as the Elites have the physical strength of the Spartans, only naturally of course, but then the Brutes are even stronger than the Elites or any other know race in the Halo universe to date. :D) and Forge wrestling that giant Arbiter; before taking him down with a knife. I think I'd still have to say Atriox. Atriox first of all is a Brute. Off topic I know, but I'd really like to see more of these face offs by Blur. If you love to imagine the planet-exploding battles of the fictional gods who will never be, taking pointless knowledge gathered from a life spent reading and gaming and swinging it like a gladiator's sword in discussions on reddit... then welcome home, my friend. Here is the image link. So this cutscene with Atriox is clever because its quite consciously subverting that cutscene. Stamina: High Though I don't want red teams death at all I see some potential here.
