Integrity is a valuable skill in an employee, because it indicates they will perform to the best of their ability and act on their principles. Many people, companies, cultures and religions have differing values.
Integrity is an often misunderstood value and that’s the reason it is reasonable to ask whether it is always a moral value. The process we used then became the building blocks for our culture and management processes today.
Oxford Dictionaries defines integrity as: “The quality of being honest and having strong moral principles.” It’s important to note that these moral principles are undefined and vary from person to person.
Even more than that, it is the value that guarantees all your other values. Keep It Simple - A sure sign of successful core values is that the entire company can tell you what the values are from memory. Would you pay extra money (or leave money on the table) to ensure this core value was being demonstrated and upheld by your team? The differentiator for this company is quality, achieved through three coats, every time. Integrity. For example, health and wellness is something Bryce and I value a ton personally. I have to ask myself, what is the point of having core values like this?
In those institutions you live by the code, or you will parish by the code.
Use core values to describe specific attributes of your company, not the attributes of just any company.
Just because something doesn't make it on the core value list, doesn't necessarily mean it cannot be valued. I think "integrity" - which appears in all of these company's - should be a table stake when building or working in any company. Hopefully these examples give you some direction and help you establish your own core values. Conversely, Continuous Self-Improvement is one of our core values.
Integrity. You are a good human being to the degree to which you live your life consistent with the highest values that you espouse. Would you confront a colleague if he or she was not demonstrating this behavior? It's clear that in Enron's case, the core values were certainly not reinforced or respected, and I doubt that the core values at Goldman Sachs live anywhere besides on the company website or maybe a glossy poster in the building. Teamwork. Excellence. Mnemonic devices are easy to recall as well. I often see posters in the corporate hallways espousing a list of values — those qualities and attributes the organization holds most dear.

Integrity is defined as “the steadfast adherence to a strict moral or ethical code.” It is the word that represents how strongly you adhere to the values you espouse. Integrity is a value, like persistence, courage, and industriousness. Consequences will reinforce scruples. This represents their character.

This incredibly simple and showcases the specific value of that company - it's perfect! They are elected based on their reputation and their consistent actions and decision-making process. Politicians are chosen by the people to represent the community based on the perception of how they think, what they say and how they behave.

We cannot answer "yes" to the third question when it comes to wellness, so for us, it isn't a core value. Typical words like; “respect, teamwork or innovation”, and sometimes I see “integrity”. In politics, integrity is especially important. However, studies do show that people who have low levels of integrity are more likely to be dishonest. But, that represents their position on the values of honesty, transparency, and truthfulness.
