The lox and loaded on an everything bagel is truly fantastic or if you’re looking for something on the sweet side try the Nana Bea- sesame bagel with cream cheese and jam. For your first time try The Hoss- a homemade biscuit with fried chicken breast, egg, bacon, cheddar, sausage gravy, and a green onion garnish and wash it all down with one of their delicious homemade limeades (the classic mint limeade is the best)! Originally started as a limeade stand at the Salt Lake City Farmers Market, this family-owned business serves fantastic breakfast and brunch 7 days each week.

Breakfast and brunch are two of the few things we’ll wake up unnecessarily early for. Tulie Bakery has some incredible FT too. You won’t find anything over the top here and the menu is super simple. They have the best homemade breads and hash browns. Current fish and oyster’s brunch is absolutely to die for, as well as Avenues Proper! Brunch every day till 4 and Sunday till 3. Truth be told, it took me WAY too long to make it to Lazy Day Cafe. Hope you have a great day! I’ll have to try their Fort Union location. (3rd south 8th east)There are new owners with an updated dinning room and all fresh cocktail menu. Looking forward to trying Finn’s! I will have to try it out- thanks for the recommendation . Sweet Lake Biscuits and Limeade. I like Waffle love, but I’m always more “wowed” when I go to Bruges. I have tried the Park City location- will need to check out their SLC location soon. If you’re looking for a later-in-the-day waffle fix keep in mind their $5 chicken and waffle special from 3-9 p.m. every Thursday.

Wasn’t blown away by eggs in the city but I have yet to try their potatoes. Their omelettes are stuffed with goodies as well. Bohemian – nobody knows about this yet, so there’s hardly ever a wait and everything on the brunch menu is so good! I like to get the wagyu corned beef and hash and add Brussels. SALT is a city block driven by passionate chefs, artists and entrepreneurs. The Bohemian has the best french toast in the state. Thanks for the reccomendations. At Female Foodie we only recommend restaurants that are worth your time and money, not because they’re crowd favorites. The Niche breakfast is great because you get to choose everything from typed of eggs two side like spinach, avocado, house potatoes and bread like their house-made English muffins.if you like margaritas the Pho-Rita with Jalepeno and Thai basil is spicy and refreshing. I haven’t been to Porcupine for brunch- it’s not on my list! Never tried the orange pancakes but they’re delicious! It’s the only authentic Jewish deli for miles within the SLC area and serves some of the greatest sandwiches I’ve had in my life. Haven’t been to Roots Cafe yet- I’ll have to put it on my list!

Because life’s too short to eat bad food. Lazy day is my new favorite spot. Hub and Spoke is a great diner by the same creators at Finca, Pago, and East Liberty Tap House serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner 7 days each week. Also on my list of Top 10 Places to Eat in SLC and Best Bakeries in SLC post, Tulie Bakery does a great job for different occasions and their small breakfast menu is some of the best in town. We have also only included restaurants on this guide that offer breakfast/brunch at least twice per week. LOVE roots! They make the BEST heirloom tomato toast I have ever had.
