If you wanted to define the worst of the 80s tropes, TerrorVision has them all. This is the kind of dated cheeseball wackiness that grows on you, especially to those who spent their childhood in the 80's and 90's.

I totally remember that monster projecting slime, and eating people. The story is pretty thin, but knowing the film came to fruition when Charles Band made the movie poster with only the title and art in mind you are not expecting great…. It helps that she has on that aforementioned Jem wig. TerrorVision is yet another foray into that special haven of 80's campy B-movie cheese that has been unfairly under the radar for too long. Also, this movie reminds me a little bit of the movie Stay Tuned with John Ritter. It’s cool, Maybe Doug was just too busy reviewing Child’s Play 1-3 with Phelous to bother doing it lol.

Because the audience is so focused on how over-the-top it is, the script is peppered with truly hilarious (and off-color) one-liners. Chad Allen as little Sherman and Franklin as Suzy are the weak links in the chain.

The movie’s weird and campy, but in a good way and it’s just so 80’s. I remember this movie. Definitely worth a watch.
